They can hear us now

Thanks to Chris Dodd and thousands of people making phone calls and sending e-mails to their Senators, urging them to defend the U.S. Constitution, Senator Harry Reid decided to pull legislation that would have granted immunity to the telecommunications companies that helped the National Security Agency to conduct its illegal domestic surveillance program. Unfortunately, the fight is not over, as the bill will resurface in 2008, so keep the pressure on your Congressional representatives to hold the phone companies responsible for breaking the law.
